Dance Now! Freeze Frame Performance of Bubbles (running time 10 minutes) Dance NOW! Miami Co-Director Hannah Baumgarten takes audiences on a journey from fantasy through poetry to athleticism with a site-specific dance performance at the Humanoids (2018) Joep van Lieshout Miami Beach Public Art Installation. The dreamer’s life is invaded by three whimsical creatures. Devoid of identity, they taunt him in a playful and devious exchange along the humanoids in an effervescent atmosphere. Original Music: Brenten Handfield on Steel pan drum. To be performed twice with live musical accompaniment guided by musical director Aleksandar Djuric with Production design by Bruce F. Brown.
