About North Beach Social:
North Beach Social is a monthly variety show produced by The Rhythm Foundation. Hosted by
Cuci Amador of Afrobeta, the show features unique artist performances and interviews as well
as highlights our local Miami Beach community. The recording takes place on 3rd Thursdays, as
part of Miami Beach’s monthly Culture Crawl, and then airs on Sundays 6:30pm on MBTV.

About Jimena Fama:
We love the music of Argentine composer, multi-instrumentalist and producer Jimena Fama.
She finds the raw soul of tango, the classic rhythm born in Buenos Aires’ roughest districts, then
follows its path through historic elegant salons and ballrooms, and makes it modern without
losing its earthy edge. Her ‘electro dub tango’ compositions fit perfectly into chic parties, fashion
shows, on ‘Dancing with the Stars,’ and intimate performances.
The globetrotting musician brings a stellar quintet of musicians for a concert at the North Beach
Bandshell for the March 18 edition of North Beach Social, including exquisite charango, quena,
guitar, piano, bombo and the iconic bandoneon. The show will include visuals and dance as
well. The opening set features bandoneon player Javier Sanchez, and the evening is hosted by
Cuci Amador. Fama will play songs from her 2021 release Patagonia, which she created with
gratitude for the unconditional magic and beauty that nature offers us.

About Cuci Amador:Cuci Amador, host of the monthly North Beach Social, is a fiery sprite of a woman who wants to
meet you on the dance floor, a truth-seeker, and a proud ambassador of all things Miami. She is
a Cuban-American singer-songwriter and one half of the duo, Afrobeta as well as an actor and
film/tv producer. With Afrobeta, she has performed at music festivals worldwide: Glastonbury,
Space Ibiza, Burning Man, Camp Bisco and the Ultra Music festivals in Brazil, Korea and Miami.
She also recently co-starred in the film, The Last Rafter, which premiered in the Miami
International Film Festival, the LA Latino Film Festival, and the New York Latino Film Festival.
