North Beach Social is a monthly variety show produced by The Rhythm Foundation. Hosted by Cuci Amador of Afrobeta, the show features unique artist performances and interviews as well as highlights our local Miami Beach community. The recording takes place on 3rd Thursdays, as part of Miami Beach’s monthly Culture Crawl, and then airs on Sundays 6:30pm on MBTV.

The new episode of North Beach Social features a performance from Indian – American percussionist Rajesh Bhandari. Bhandari, with over 20 years playing the Tabla, creates music that carries both stimulating and hypnotic elements. This performance will also celebrate the release of his new album “In This Moment”.

The opening set features Chantil Dukart, a jazz pianist-singer-songwriter. Originally from Alaska, and with roots in the Tsimshian and Aleut tribes, Chantil draws her depth from the strength and perseverance of her ancestors. She graduated from the University of Miami’s Frost School of Music in 2014, is now based in Colorado.
