Heritage Heroes Virtual Fundraiser

This exciting six-day virtual fundraiser will celebrate the Jewish Museum of Florida-FIU’s history, heritage, partners and friends, while raising much-needed funds to secure the museum’s future.

• Tuesday, Dec 1– What are Heritage Heroes? Susan Gladstone, JMOF-FIU Executive Director is joined by Jonah and Henry Platt, of the famous singing Platt Brothers (their brother Ben is the Tony Award winning actor for his role in Dear Evan Hansen) along with Piper Rutman and Gabriel Mann.
• Wednesday, Dec 2– Founding Heroes: Looking Back with Founding Executive Director, Marcia Jo Zerivitz and other Florida Jewish heroes.
• Thursday, Dec 3- Our Heritage Heroes: You’ll hear from some of our JMOF-FIU heroes, why the museum is so important to the community and to their family
• Friday, Dec 4- Super Heroes: A Virtual Tour of our newest exhibition. Will Eisner: Comic Illustrator and Innovator
• Saturday, Dec 5– Young Heroes: Special Family Day Program with JMOF-FIU Education Manager, Luna Goldberg and colleagues from the Wolfsonian and Frost Art Museums.
• Sunday, Dec 6- Heritage Heroes: Annual Holiday Klezmer Concert featuring Heavy Shtetl.
