4:15 PM: Veteran Sgt. Frederick L. Barker will arrive in a restored WWII Jeep @ The Betsy’s Ocean Drive Entrance (Enter at 1440 Ocean Drive)

4:30 PM: Event will commence in The Gallery, Located in The Betsy’s Art Deco Wing (Enter thru 1433 Collins Avenue)

Also enjoy an exciting presentation by local historian Dr. Judi Berson-Levinson, author of “South Beach at War: Sun, Sand & Soldiers during WWII” and daughter of a WWII vet who trained on Miami Beach; she will share stories of the years America’s Playground became“the most beautiful boot camp in America.”
