The 24th Afro Roots Fest flagship concert at the Bandshell features a double bill concert by Sinkane and Dayme Arocena, with an opening set by Son Mandinga and DJ set by Lance-O.

Sinkane is a Sudanese-American musician who blends krautrock, prog rock, electronica, free jazz and funk rock with Sudanese pop. Based in Brooklyn, he is also known for his work as bandleader of the Atomic Bomb Band collective.

Dayme Arocena is a powerhouse Cuban vocalist whose music draws on her conservatoire training, the Yoruba heritage and Santeria rituals of her family, with a dose of jazz and soul stylings.

Son Mandinga is an Afro-Venezuela percussion ensemble based in Miami.

Afro Roots Fest, produced by Community Arts and Culture, is a celebration of the evolution of African music and culture throughout the world.
