Summer Art Camp at The Bass: Mixed Media Mashup
Using artists that work with nature and recycled materials as inspiration, children will use a variety of found materials to build their works of art. Found object sculptures will be made from painted branches, leaves, small rocks, shells, etc. Ages 5-6

In this workshop, students will tackle the classic challenge of drawing the human figure from life. There will be demos and exercises to practice gesture, proportion, movement, foreshortening, form, light and shadow. This course explores the more painterly side of screenprinting by utilizing dye mixtures and freehand painting techniques as opposed to traditional oil or water-based ink.
