About: The Cook, The Thief, His Wife & Her Lover debuted on Oct 18th at Faena Theater and is based on the critically acclaimed film by Peter Greenaway. This intoxicating revenge tragedy follows the tumultuous relationship between an ill-mannered restaurant owner, the Thief, and his Wife, who has wandering eye.
“The Cook, The Thief, His Wife & Her Lover” takes place in a dazzling recreation of Le Hollandais restaurant, where guests are invited to feast with the cast as the savage story unfolds. An extravagant, three-course menu crafted by James Beard winner and iconic Miami chef, Michelle Bernstein, will delight the senses with a playful homage to classic French and European cuisine – all with a South Florida twist and dramatic flair. Dinner & Theater Experience runs Thursdays-Sundays.
