About: Miami New Drama opens its season at the Colony Theatre with The Bridge of San Luis Rey, a new play based on the Pulitzer Prize winning novel by Thornton Wilder that Time Magazine calls “One of the Best novels of the 20th century.” Adapted for the stage by and starring six-time Obie Award-winner David Greenspan, The Bridge of San Luis Rey is a lyrical fable of fate and love about five travelers in colonial Peru whose lives intersect in an epic and unexpected way.
