The Betsy presents a monthly Broadway, Zarzuela, Opera Pop-up in the Lobby with Miami Classical Music
Festival, one of two Festivals in Residence at our Hotel. Together we offer a monthly celebration of classical
song – to include opera and other vocal genres. This is a chance to hear the best and brightest alumni of a
program that takes place every summer featuring almost 100 performances of opera and chamber music in
venues across Miami Beach. The Betsy is host hotel to the summer Festival and features at least one
performance each week that is free and open to the community.
The Miami Classical Music Festival was founded by Maestro Michael Rossi, a member of the Kennedy Center
Orchestra, and conducts opera and symphonic works globally. Rossi will be in-residence for 10 weeks this
